1974 Aldenham School Fencing Team

( a.k.a. Sir Black Knight ), began fencing as a teenager in Hertfordshire England under a number of  English fencing masters and finally under the tutelage of Prof. David Austin. He continued his training at Aldenham Boarding School (est. 1597) in Elstree, Hertfordshire and made the school team in 1974, competing in a number of regional and national championships, acquiring a bronze ranking in Foil and silver ranking in Sabre fencing by British Amateur Fencing Association. In 1978 he tried out for the Persian National Fencing Team to the 1980 Moscow Olympics but did not make the squad. As it turned out the 1980 Olympics was boycotted by most nations due to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan in 1979.

His subsequent Fencing exposure and experience are as follows:

1977-78               Valley Forge Military College Fencing Team

1977-79               I.I.Navy Fencing Team

1989-Present        Coaching youth and adult beginner and intermediate fencers in Foil and Sabre
